Annette McGivney

Annette McGivney is a journalist based in Cortez, Colorado, who writes frequently on the environment and Native American issues. In addition to Runner's World, her stories have appeared in The Guardian, Outside, Backpacker and Arizona Highways. McGivney's book, Pure Land, about a murder in Grand Canyon, won the National Outdoor Book Award in 2018.
