Oiselle has an affinity for the letter B when it comes to naming their sports bras (e.g. Brilliance and Ballard). Oiselle’s newest bra has a smooth, downy feel. It’s a bra that Oiselle hopes you can depend on, which is why they’ve suitably dubbed it the Bae.
Level Up
Oiselle’s support system goes by compression levels, from 1 to 3. Rated a 2, the Bae is best suited for A to C runners. The bra’s adjustable straps, along with Nyelle compression fabric, hold your breasts in place and give you some extra lift.
The soft and compressive material gently hugs your breasts, providing a smooth, satisfactory fit. Runners size A and lower, however, may find they have a slight gap in the front.
This Bae’s Got Your Back
The triangle-shaped mesh panel provides ventilation, while exposed shoulders allow flexibility. Thicker fabric and padding in the front, however, can make it feel warm in hotter temperatures.
Oiselle uses Nyelle Compression, a mostly nylon blend with spandex for elasticity, that’s super soft on the skin and durable enough to go through your washing machine.
What Testers Had to Say
The Bae won over one wear-tester at first fit: “It was the comfiest and truest to my size. I knew I had support straightaway when I put it on; there was no bouncing or pulling on my run.”
However, runners with larger cup sizes may find a better match in Oiselle’s Brilliance: “While I was not at risk of any wardrobe malfunctions, I felt that the Bae should have provided more support while running. For other activities—barre, yoga, HIIT—it is an absolute dream.”
One tester loved a feature we don’t see in every sports bra: labeled removable cups. “While labeling might seem like a non-feature for some, I definitely appreciate it. When I’m doing laundry or trying to quickly change for the gym, I don’t want to waste time fiddling with the bra cups to figure out which side goes where.”
