When Adidas set out to reintroduce the Supernova, they gave the shoe a major makeover with a new name, new look, and new tech. The Supernova Rise is a daily trainer with super shoe-inspired foam. Adidas’s Dreamstrike+ is an offshoot of Lightstrike+ foam, which is used in the brand’s racing shoe, the Adizero Adios Pro.
Our tester and RW+ member Andy DeWolf, who lives in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, had mixed thoughts about the Supernova Rise. Hear DeWolf’s comments and my reaction (confession: the Supernova Rise was one of my go-tos during testing) by watching the full episode.
This week’s Ask an Expert question: “What should a person look for if they’re going to spend $200 on a pair of shoes that can do everything?”
And catch up on our last show where we talked about running in the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 24 with RW+ member Suzanne Reisman.
We’ll be on hiatus until January 8, 2025! Stay tuned for even more shoes tests, RW+ members to meet, and all the answers to all your shoe questions!
Apply now to be one of our guests in the new year! (*You must be an RW+ member first!)
