While REI is primarily known as an outdoor outfitter, the online retailer regularly features serious savings on a plethora of high-end running and fitness gear as well. REI’s outlet section is always peppered with savings, but around this time of year, they’re even bigger, thanks to REI’s annual anniversary sale, which always drops right around Memorial Day and lasts through the holiday.
This year, of course, is no different—save up to a whopping 70 percent on some of your favorite running shoes, tech, and apparel from cult brands. Hoka, for example, is discounting the popular Clifton 9s by 20 percent. You can also grab the editor-favorite Brooks Ghost 16 for over 20 percent off. Other big-time deals include over 70 percent off Saxx running shorts, 20 percent off Vuori joggers, and up to 40 percent off Patagonia running gear.
Members of REI’s Member program have it even better. Member exclusive deals are aplenty, but that’s sort of an everyday thing. The retailer provides loyal customers with a 10 percent giveback on eligible purchases year over year, as well as other cool perks like free shipping, flash deals, and more. The membership is a one-time fee of $30, which essentially pays for itself after one big purchase.
