On the heel, you’ll find the T’s map of the city. Also, a returning feature this year is a tribute to the port city’s famed food: lobster. You’ll find the crustaceans on various points of the shoe.

Despite the weather being unpredictable for Boston each year, you can always count on spring, and with that, tulips on the Boston Commons. That’s where New Balance drew its inspiration this year. The shoe is covered in tulip petal colors, and the sockliner contains a white-throated sparrow—another sign of spring arriving. On the heel, you can find the words “RUN BOS” along with a silhouette of the state of Massachusetts in the insole.
