Rob Riggle

It has been 14 years since funnyman Rob Riggle competed in a marathon. He was in the Marine Corps, and he finished New York City in 2002, a few weeks after he returned home from a tour in Afghanistan.

Since then, Riggle has become a successful actor and comedian, appearing as a supporting character in films like Step Brothers, The Hangover, and 21 Jump Street. He has also accumulated a wealth of “expert” marathon advice, which he shared before he takes on his second 26.2 in Chicago this Sunday.

He is running to raise money for the charity Salute, Inc., which supports veterans and their families.

Editor’s note: Follow his advice at your own peril.
