Our Video Guy Poses With Various Things at the U.S. Track & Field Trials
When nothing is happening, Derek Call is happening.

Derek Call is part of the Runner’s World team in Oregon covering the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials. His assignment is to take video and send it back to us, which he is doing. There's this one, this one, and this one, among others.
What is not part of his assignment is taking pictures of himself and sending those back to us. But, for some reason, he's doing that too.
Because we like Derek, and because we like to share, we've compiled some of his photos into a slideshow, for the deserving readers of RW.
And so we present ...

Since becoming a video producer for Runner’s World in 2014, Derek has captured such historic moments as Meb Keflezighi and Desiree Linden’s Boston victories and Amy Cragg’s win at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials, and Galen Rupp and Shalane Flanagan breaking the tape in Chicago and New York, respectively.
