Horror movies are infamous for scenes where the characters are sprinting from monsters or aliens or killers—whatever is out to get them. Sometimes they succeed in getting away fast enough, but other times, they’re not so lucky. Either way, scenes like these can make us runners wonder how we’d fare if we were in the same situation.
