It all started innocently enough with a drawing of a corgi. Since then, the drawings have gotten a little more, well… adult-themed. Claire Wyckoff is the runner (or should we say artist?) behind Running Drawing, a Tumblr blog which has recently set the running social media world into a giant fit of giggles.
Although this is the first time some of us are hearing of this, the idea of drawing pictures with GPS devices while running is not a new phenomenon. The website Figure Running has been around for years, and is complete with dragons, Superman, and even a hamburger.
A quick Google search makes it apparent that plenty more people out there are having fun with this meme, and have been for a while.
This mapping fun isn't isolated to runners. Anyone with a tracking device and a bit of creativity can go out and create their own art. Just before Thanksgiving, a San Francisco cyclist took the time to plan out this complex turkey route that he rode and then posted on Strava.

We're guessing there's even more out there that we're not aware of yet so, please, share it with us.
