I finally believe that I can

I started running to help improve my asthma. I have always had exercise induced asthma and became frustrated with the limitations on being active. But I decided, if I take it slow, maybe running would eventually break that barrier. I never thought I could run more than a mile but I quickly realized that using the run/walk method I could soon surpass a 5K distance. Now I do so much more activity outdoors because I finally believe that I can!

living to the fullest

I run for my future. I decided that I want to live my life in a healthy way. While I might not always do the most or eat the right things, I don’t want to prevent myself from living a long and healthy life.

Running through the seasons

I mostly run around my neighborhood and local parks. Luckily, living in Bucks County gives you a naturally beautiful backdrop. While I hate when PA gets cold, I love the changing seasons and the scenery.

Favorite shoe brand

Through lots of brand trial and error, I have learned to love Brooks running shoes. My style choice right now would be the Ghost or Adrenaline. I like to alternate depending on the length of my run.

fun fact

RunDisney is actually what first sparked my interest in races and since then I started an Etsy shop making Disney inspired ear headbands. I love the creative outlet it gives me and I love the potential of being a part of some runner’s outfits at a runDisney race.

run goal

Because I started my running journey at the beginning of 2020, I would love to be able to run an in-person race at some point. Everything I have done so far has been virtual.
