How running has changed me

Running has made me mentally and physically stronger.

a sense of freedom

Running has been instrumental to my new found sobriety and anxiety. I run to challenge my mind, stay healthy, and see what physical limits my body has. Running creates a challenge as well as a sense of freedom in some odd way.

run route

I run everywhere I can that’s outside. I do mostly streets but also go off-road from time to time to switch it up.

Favorite trainers

I love my Saucony shoes.

fun fact

My front two teeth are fake and as of less than two years ago I went from only being able to run 2-3 miles max to a half marathon (not an organized race).

current goal

I want to accomplish over 20 miles in one run.

Caroline’s enthusiasm for enriching the run community originates from engaging with her local run specialty store customers, where she still works part-time. As a professional hobby jogger, she loves exchanging training stories and hearing from RW+ members about their race victories.
