Hi, Team.

In this episode of The Amazing Runner’s World Show, Jeff is joined by senior video producer Pat Heine, our trail- and ultrarunning expert, to talk about Satisfy’s new trail shoe, The Rocker. It costs $290, which is $100 more than all of the best trail running shoes in our latest roundup. We talk about why the shoe is well-built and whether the cost is worth it.

We also looked at a few other pricey new products that are promising: The new Ciele FSTCap Elite is a $110 black running hat designed to keep you cooler in the summer. And Raide builds a waist belt that costs $149 but can replace a hydration vest.

In a previous episode, Jeff and Aly are talking about shoes! One of our most helpful articles for runners is the best running shoes you can buy right now. Our testers put in thousands of miles to find those few standout models. But, there are other shoes you might not have considered, which aren’t on that list. We looked at three brand new shoes from the Skechers Aero line. Our testers have been putting them through their paces for a couple of weeks and once the reviews are in, we’ll see if any of them finds a spot on our best shoes list when we next update it.
