There's only a few hours left of the October Amazon Prime Day sale and audio giant Beats just slashed the price of its Beats Studio3 headphones again. Right now, you can snag this pair of premium over-ear headphones for just £139.00 — that's a humungous 60% discount, down from £349.45. Yep, you heard that right.
Just this morning, the Beats Studio3 were already discounted to £199, but it seems Beats have treated us to a last-minute price-cut as we enter the final hours of the sale. Talk about a mega saving. In fact, as a deals editor who's been covering the sale for the past 48-hours, I'd say this is one of the best Prime Day headphone deals going.
The Beats Studio3 are some of the best over-ear headphones we've tested at RW. Travel-friendly, they're a great choice for those always on the go. Both arms can be snapped shut and the durable hardshell carry case can be hooked onto your kit bag – ideal if you’re short on space and are rushing from work to the track.

We also found them a cinch to use from the start – Bluetooth connection was seamless, and we liked that there’s just one tactile button (located within with ‘b’ logo on the left cup) for music playback, volume and summoning voice assistants. The 22-hour battery life is decent, and if you're in a hurry, a speedy 10-minute charge will keep you going for three hours. There's even a flashing LED gauge that lets you know when your headphones are running low on battery.
When it comes to comfort, the Beats Studio3 scored top marks, with breathable, padded ear cups and a cushioned headband. During fitness pursuits, they needed some readjusting but once in the right position, they stayed put and allowed us to focus on the task at hand.
As for sound quality, they put in a solid performance across the board, with no annoying distortion and a wonderfully immersive soundstage. The noise cancelling was top quality, but we did miss a transparency mode for outdoor sessions.
If you've got our eye on a pair, I wouldn't recommend waiting around. I don't expect this second price-cut to last long, and Amazon Prime Day also ends at midnight...
