London-based performance brand Soar and trail running footwear specialist Altra have joined forces to create a premium capsule designed for elite-level racing.
Billed as a collection that ‘sets a new benchmark in trail racing’, this new drop is all about cutting-edge performance, combining lightweight constructions, technical innovations and a bold ‘Prism’ design.
It includes a capsule apparel line alongside a special-edition version of Altra’s Mont Blanc Carbon trail shoe. The shoe is equipped with a full-length carbon fibre plate, coupled with a dual-density midsole and a Vibam outsole for superior grip.

Meanwhile, the Altra x Soar Trail Race Top is featherlight and pack-compliant, with a construction that combines UPF50 protection on the shoulders and upper arms with abrasion-resistant panels and ultralight mesh across the torso.
The Trail Race Shorts are built around RHEON, a technology that ‘supercharges’ sports garments and, when placed around key muscle groups, hardens to block wasted energy. With a waistband-free construction and integrated storage throughout, the half-tights are made for technical terrain, long days and elite-level performance.
Every item in the collection has been tested by elite athletes and refined through real-world racing, according to the brands, including at pace, under pressure and at elevation.
