Everyday is a national day these days (we don't mind the chocolate ones), but Ordnance Survey has announced the return of National GetOutside Day and we think it's a great idea.
On Sunday 29th September, OS are encouraging everyone who enjoys outdoor activities to take a friend or family member along with them too, aiming to attract more people outdoors. Whether it be for a walk, a picnic, a run, a bike ride, climbing a hill or anything else taking place outside, the aim is to share the experience with others.
National GetOutside Day returns as part of OS’s #GetOutside campaign to get more people enjoying the British outdoors, more often.

You can officially sign up here to take part (there are suggested activities and facebook groups for each region), but the over arching message is that this is the day to get yourself and someone else outside.
