First Look - Garmin Vector

After a brief delay of 18 months or so, the Vector was finally placed into our eager hands and from the moment we opened the box and fitted Garmin's new the power monitoring pedals, we've been glued to Connect analysing every single pedal stroke. 

There will be a full review coming soon, but going by the first few rides, it seems the wait was well worth while. Key benefits that immediately stand out are of course the definitive truth of accurate power output readings (and thus working out things like Functional Threshold Power etc) and the power balance function that allows you see how balanced your output is from each leg, which can really help with making sure your set up is correct and ironing out any weaknesses. 

The box they come in looks pretty good on its own!

Installation is very easy and you can simply move them from bike to another, making them a great option for those with multiple bikes.
