Hi, Team.

In this episode of The Amazing Runner’s World Show, Aly shares why she’s running the same loop every day for a month, and how our What to Wear tool has helped her. Then, Jeff explains all the bad things that happen when you don’t untie your shoes at the end of a run. (Do you kick your shoes off? Tell us why or why not, below.) And, test editor Amanda Furrer shares the differences between Asics’ two super racers and why she loves them. RW+ members can watch the full episode below.

The Veja Condor 3 that Jeff shows at the beginning of the episode has just been released. It’s an eco-friendly daily trainer that’s actually a lot of fun for running.

Thanks for watching. And be sure to leave a comment or send us an email at [email protected] with any questions you want answered or topics you want us to address in future episodes.

In the previous episode, we talked about flat and fast race courses. Some of you said California International Marathon isn’t flat, but it’s undeniably fast. Then, Jeff gets into the details of super trainers—what makes them great, why you should try one, and the pair he loves right now. And, finally, Mallory Creveling, RW’s deputy editor of health and fitness, joins Aly to talk about why they love rage running. RW+ members can watch the full episode now.

Runner-in-Chief

Jeff is Runner-in-Chief for Runner’s World and the director of product testing. He has tested and reviewed running shoes, GPS watches, headphones, apparel, and more for nearly two decades. He regularly tests more than 100 pairs of shoes each year, and once had a 257-day streak running in different models. Jeff can usually be found on the roads, racing anything from the mile to a marathon, but he also enjoys racing up mountains and on snowshoes. When he’s not running, you’ll probably find him hanging from a ladder making repairs and renovations to his house (he’s also director of product testing for Popular Mechanics).
