Hi, Team.
In this episode of The Amazing Runner’s World Show, Aly is joined by test editor Amanda Furrer to talk about how Amanda went from a back of the pack runner on her cross country team to finding her place, and a faster pace, running marathons. Then, they talk about their experiences testing out Free People Runsies and discuss whether or not they actually work for running. Finally, Aly and Amanda talk about the 2024 Runner’s World Shoe Awards, specifically about the best running shoes for back-of-the-pack runners. RW+ members can watch the full episode below.

In the previous episode of The Amazing Runner’s World Show, Jeff was joined by news director Andrew Daniels to answer a question from RW+ member Mark Tucker, from Phoenix, “If I run on a treadmill two days per week and outside the other two days in the early morning, will I be adequately trained?” (Here’s an article on more expert-backed advice.) Plus, we talked about how some pros are using Strava to play games with their competitors and how you can look at their training to apply workouts during your own race prep. And, finally, we gave you a sneak peek at the new Normatec Elite compression boots. RW+ members can watch the full episode now.
